In the freezer all the time
I received cold packs with my pocket binder and loved that with 2 I kept one in the freezer and one against my incision all the time. Now that I no longer need the cold packs in my binder, the cold packs will stay in the freezer for future owies. Pros: easy to freeze and they stay soft even when frozen. Con: I can't think of any except if you use this directly without a binder, wrap it in a napkin or cloth to keep it off your skin directly. Its cold!

What is the size of the cold pack?
The cool packs are 4" x 9" inches.
Are the cold/hot packs reusable?
Yes! Keep your cold packs in the freezer for any injuries or wounds after your surgery recovery. Your family will always have a go-to cold pack for skinned knees or headaches. Don't forget they can also be warmed in the microwave.
I don't have a microwave. Is there any other way to warm these cold/hot packs?
Yes, boil some water in a pot on your stove top. Once the water has reached boiling temperature, remove from the stove top and put the cold/hot pack into the water and leave for a few minutes.
Will the cold/hot pack stay flexible even when frozen?
Yes. The cold frozen pack is very flexible and will mold to your belly or other wound easily.
